Restaurant (a/the ‘Business’) health inspection scores maintained on the Service are a reflection of the Business health inspection scores owned and maintained by the County of Los Angeles in California.  

Any discrepancies noted for a specific Business score on this Service should first be directed towards contacting Los Angeles County for any posted score remediation.  URL address below.

Business health scores stored and used on this Service are updated every two months.  Any Business that receives a low health inspection score will most likely have a re-inspection performed on that Business at a later date.

GPS Location Data

Location data is used on this Service to pinpoint the location on the supplied map for a Business. This is done by using a set of GPS coordinates, both by latitude and longitude to find the location.

For this Service, a great majority of GPS coordinates are supplied within the “businesses.csv” feed file supplied by Los Angeles County.  For the GPS coordinates that are initially still missing, a third party API is used to find any additional GPS locations based on already existing supplied Business addresses.  After the third party API was used, several hundred GPS locations are still missing.    

•  This Service cannot guarantee location data will be available for a specific Business.  When it is not available, the Service will display messaging.

•  This Service cannot guarantee location data will be GPS location accurate for a specific Business.

•   In times of emergency or not, this Service cannot be used for plotting a course with the supplied mapping to get from point to point geographically.
